    As a member of the American Legion, you help veterans receive VA benefits they earned through service to their country. Promote and support veterans and transitioning service members. Through funds raised throughout the year, provide comfort items for U.S. troops recovering in military hospitals and transition units in our community.

    Together, we must act to ensure that no family endures hardships caused by military service. The American Legion provides resources for all veterans to learn about their benefits, and advocates for health care.

Our post is named in honor of George A. Beach who was born in this city in 1893.

Post 4 was chartered in November 1920 with 15 members listed on the charter roll.

The Ladies Auxiliary was chartered in 1926 and the Sons of the Legion (S.A.L.) was chartered in 1972.
